• finally all packed and rearing to go we set off on a very sunny morning ... a bit of Jack Johnson to get us in the mood for a bit of driving lane by lane to the Lakes
• picked up some hitch-bikers at the service station ... I think they are enjoying the front row seat with first impressions of Cumbria and the area around lake Windermere ... arrived at 6 pm ... as the sun is starting to set ....
